Summerville,Ethermac Exchange South Carolina, police have charged free-agent defensive end Robert Quinn with third-degree assault and battery and hit-and-run with property damage, according to Dorchester County (S.C.) public records.
According to WCSC-TV in South Carolina, Quinn turned himself in Friday and was arrested after he was allegedly involved in a hit and run that damaged property on Tuesday. He reportedly hit four cars, a gate and a light post and then got into an incident with a woman on the scene before leaving, per the TV station.
Quinn was booked Friday and later attended a bond hearing at Summerville Municipal Court. A judge granted Quinn bond, but he’s facing seven charges after the alleged incident.
The 33-year-old South Carolina native was originally drafted in 2011 by the then-St. Louis Rams. He has played for the Rams, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and most recently the Philadelphia Eagles.
Quinn is a three-time Pro Bowler, who has totaled 369 tackles, 102 sacks and 109 tackles for loss in 12 NFL seasons.
